In Rome, before pasta and pizza, there were cold cuts, cheeses and... porchetta! For centuries the ancient Romans and then the Italians lived by eating simple products such as a cheese caciotta, lard and a loaf of bread.

If you've ended up here, you're probably hungry for something real. Here at I Pizzicaroli you will find simple things with a flavor of other times. Our specialty is baskets and mixed platters with cold cuts, cheeses and porchetta. Prosciutto di Norcia, mortazza with pistachios, ventricina teramana, pecorino di Campotosto, goat caciotta, caciofiore and even game such as wild boar, deer and horse.

If you don't feel like the mixed basket, you take a nice bruschettone, two slices of toasted bread with every good thing. Then the grand finale is made by the porchetta of Ariccia and I tell you that you have never eaten it better than ours!

You take a nice drop of wine and you're done!
